Present or recent applications are combustion at the small scale (mesoscale combustion) for thermoelectric power generation, stratified combustion in ICEs (EGR/IGR), pollutant emissions in aircraft engines, flame/wall interaction, expanding wrinkled pre-mixed flames, asymptotic analysis and simulation of flame-balls, flame/acoustics interaction, percolation modeling for front propagation, instabilities of thin-film interfaces. <br />

Personal Information

Since 2005, I am Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the French Institute for Applied Sciences (INSA) of Rouen, France, and Researcher at CORIA Lab, where I am leading a small team of PhDs, Post-docs and Masters/Engineers trainees (constantly 4 to 7 people under my supervision).
My main research interests deal with modelling, simulation and analysis of turbulent reactive flows, pre-mixed flame modelling, subsonic & supersonic reactive compressible flow, Low Mach approximation, multi-phase flows, complex chemical kinetics modelling, standard and non-standard numerical methods, high performance scientific computing.
